implementing version control via github has been very fun! and also a really good reminder as to why you should ALWAYS back your shit up before making big changes! otherwise i would've lost all of my microblog posts and website media! just remember to tell rsync to also ignore whatever you're .gitignore-ing, otherwise it'll delete whatever it thinks shouldn't be there
