i had a dream last night about my dad, and it was the first dream i had since his death where him being alive wasn't something that instantly occurred to me i was getting the train. the train in this dream had me driving it, and i was operating it via two pedals. i almost crashed it a few times, but after getting to the station, my dad picked me up and we drove to my nans. ...which is a bit weird because i took the train to a station in England and my nan lives in Northern Ireland lol anyway, once we got there my dad pulled me over while we were walking to my nans door and he said to me [i]"look, uni is ending soon, and you're going to end up making some decisions that'll define you for your entire life, whether or not you like it. it's about time you define yourself and start acting like the choices you make will define you for the rest of your life, because you've got some big decisions to make soon. don't do what i did, and take a lot of caution in your actions. but also don't let that responsibility control you."[/i] deep cut dream, i'm considering it a christmas gift from him
