i had a dream last night i was listening to music on my headphones when all of a sudden my mum comes up to me and gives me a tiny pocket watch that has the ability to transport me into the past, but specifically on the date of my first birthday so i decide to go into the past with freezer and her friend... in the tesco in the town i was born in we get there and i start crying after seeing something in the bakery that i remember seeing at the age of 1 (FYI, it's something they've never sold, doesn't exist and that i don't even remember IRL) freezer's friend comforts me and we continue to explore the 2006 tesco, completely fascinated by everything around us. i'm still listening to music on my headphones. when suddenly... i take off my headphones and i can [b]still hear the music[/b]. my running theory was that i can still hear it because me in 2026 is still wearing them. so we go to the present and end up in the tesco that freezer works in for some reason. i'm still wearing the headphones now, so i take them off. but i can still hear the music. i'm struggling to hear what freezer's saying, i'm not wearing headphones visibly so freezer doesn't get it and keeps trying to communicate to me. we go back and forth into the past and present, trying to figure out what's happening, and then i realise. i realise i'm dreaming, and i fell asleep with headphones on. i tell freezer that i know why it's happening, that i'm dreaming and my real self has headphones on. freezer understands and tells me i should wake up to take them off. so i say goodbye to freezer, telling her i'll probably not see her again, and she understands that she isn't real so she sits down with her legs crossed and closes her eyes. and i wake up, and feel a sense of relief once taking off my headphones finally makes things silent.
